Emdoneni Lodge and Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park are a favourite with all our guests. This is why we have put together a special combined safari to both these amazing destinations.
Leaving Durban in the early morning, we make our way to our first stop, Emdoneni Lodge. Emdoneni is set inside a small picturesque reserve. Emdoneni’s experienced and passionate guides will take you on a tour of the cheetah and other cat enclosures. The cat enclosures are in a natural environment. Emdoneni rehabilitates and breeds cats to be released back into the wild. On your tour you will get to see caracal, wild cat, serval and cheetah.
Moving on, we take the short drive to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, home to the Big5. We will go straight into a safari game drive. Your guide will show you some of the many hidden secrets this park has to offer, which can often be missed to the untrained eye. Hluhluwe-Imfolozi is abundant in bird life, around 400 species on record. Animals outside of the Big5 such as giraffe, hippo, zebra, wildebeest and numerous antelope also reside inside this, the oldest of all Africa’s safari parks.
After a day of excitement and adventure we return to Durban for the early evening.
Price of safari R2790.00 per person. Discounts apply for group bookings. There is a minimum of two persons to book this safari.
For an additional open vehicle drive, the price is R350.00 per person. There is a four person minimum to book an open drive.
