Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park gates
- Memorial Gate, Hluhluwe section (north): about 13 km from Hluhluwe town. Hilltop Camp is in this section.
- Nyalazi Gate, iMfolozi section (south): leave the N2 at Mtubatuba and follow the road towards Nongoma. The gate is about 30 km from Mtubatuba and about 54 km from St Lucia. Mpila Camp is about 19 km inside.
- Cengeni Gate, iMfolozi section (south-west): reached from the Ulundi side of the park.
Distances to Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park
- From Durban: about 280 km, about 2.5 to 3 hours on the N2 (a toll road). Use Nyalazi or Memorial Gate.
- From Richards Bay: about 80 to 100 km, under 2 hours. Use Nyalazi Gate.
- From St Lucia: about 54 km, about an hour. Use Nyalazi Gate.
- From Johannesburg: about 573 km, about 7 hours via Pongola. Use Memorial Gate.
